
Dr. Korjian serves as the Senior Medical Director of Clinical Trials and the Director of the Angiographic Core Lab at the Baim Institute for Clinical Research. He completed a research fellowship at the PERFUSE study group where he developed skills in clinical trial design, leadership, and statistical data analysis. For over 12 years, he has worked on international clinical trials including APEX, AEGIS-I, AEGIS-II, EMBRACE, PIONEER AF-PCI, and HEARTLINE. His research interests include cardiovascular outcomes trials, specifically in antiplatelet therapy and anticoagulation, lipid modifying therapies, and novel devices for the management of acute coronary syndromes. His expertise lies in study design, protocol development, safety and CEC, data analysis, regulatory compliance, and academic leadership. Dr. Korjian completed his medical residency, general cardiology fellowship, and interventional cardiology fellowship at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston and is now an attending physician in interventional cardiology at the Massachusetts General Hospital and an Instructor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School.
